Lottie WOAD Turns to Professionals – Golf News

Lottie Woad won the KPMG Irish Women’s Open behind her excellent two weeks and took a lead in the Evian Championship, one of the main champions of golf.
The 21-year-old first joined the English golf event in 2017 and announced in her application letter that her dream was to “become a professional golfer”.
Eight years later, through a lot of hard work and dedication, the Farnham golfer realized her dream.

Nigel Edwards, England Golf Performance Director, said: “For years, Lottie Woad has been a special member of the England Golf Squad, moving from the regional roster to the National Women’s and most recently the National Women’s Women’s Team.
“From a wide range of match opportunities to coaching support from our national coaches and national chief practitioners, she has received all the services offered. Her success has been well documented, including the British Women’s Championship, Augusta National Women’s Amateurs, and, more recently, the Women’s Irish Women’s Irish Open.
“Lottie is happy to work with and support others – she has an excellent work ethic, a desire to learn and be better, and loves big occasions. Lottie will thrive in professional games and I really believe Lottie will be one of the biggest names in professional golf in the years to come.
