Transylvania Open final: Emma Raducanu defeats Sorana Cirstea in straight sets

Raducanu looked tired and lacking energy after a three-set win over Olynikova on Cluj-Napoca’s purple court.
Sistia came out sharper from the start, breaking Raducanu early and breezing through the rest of the first set to take the match on a bagel.
The Romanian led 2-0 in the second set when Raducanu finally played her first game. She slowly sat down and sought medical attention, receiving encouragement from her coach.
It looked like Raducanu’s final might end early, but she continued and equalized in the next game.
However, Sistia, who is in the final year of his career, soon regained control of the match and Raducanu’s double fault on the championship point ended the Briton’s hopes of winning a second senior trophy.
