‘Huge’ £52m talent wants to join Chelsea now

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca may have signed several players this summer, but he is far from over in the transfer market.

If the income exceeds the expenses, the swelling team may have problems in the next semester. However, it is still necessary to remove players such as Christopher Nkunku, Joao Felix, Axel Disasi and Raheem Sterling before the windows are closed.

Rumor Mill has been the same for the past few weeks, with the Blues associated with the players’ right, left and center.

Karim Adeyemi, Tyler Dibling and Malick Fofana are all touted to move to Stamford Bridge this summer as Maresca continues to be responsible for further strengthening the offensive program.

Alexander Isak was another mentioned after the Swedish striker sought to set off from Newcastle, but the move was extremely unlikely.

The most likely signature is probably the signing of Xavi Simons, as the Dutch seemed to dream of joining the Blues before a potential move.

In the long run, the price increase of about £56 million is reportedly worth it.

Xavi Simons will bring to Chelsea

Simons has been used as an offensive midfielder throughout his career, but the 22-year-old has tended to operate on the left since joining RB Leipzig in the summer of 2023.

Chelsea’s Cole Palmer is arguably one of Europe’s best midfielders, and the chances of Simons are likely to come.

Last season, Simmons scored 11 goals in all games and scored eight assists, with nine of them contributing from the left wing.

However, he ranks high on many key metrics compared to his position in the Bundesliga.

Indeed, the Dutchman would rank in the top 6% for progressive passes (5.86) per 90, along with ranking in the top 15% for shot-creating actions (4.52), In the top 3% for through balls (0.96) and for carries into the final third (2.97) per 90, it is evident that Simons shoe for the German side.

Combining it with a target conversion rate of 20% on top flights and creating 12 big opportunities, while having two key passes per game on average, Simmons will have a huge impact on Chelsea team next season.

If a deal can be determined in the next few days, Maresca will certainly be happy with his offensive choice before the campaign begins within a few weeks.

The next one on his roster will sign one or two defenders to improve the back row. Several names have been mentioned in the past few weeks, but it seems that the club now has only one goal.

Jorrel Hato is that player. Can Maresca secure its signature in the next few days?

Chelsea approaches another exciting signing

The Blues have been keen on Ajax stars since the windows opened, but now it looks like they may be moving.

Fabrizio Romano provided the latest news about Chelsea’s pursuit of the player X, saying he “told the club his desire to join Chelsea”.

This is good news for Maresca, and it is definitely only a matter of time before the club announces the signing.

The Netherlands side costs about £52 million to approve exports, but given how much Chelsea has spent so far, the additional £50 million or more will not be hurt.

He has been glittering for Ajax since his debut, and while Hato can run as a centre-back or left-back, Maresca may release him on the left.

If both Hato and Simons moved to Stamford Bridge, it could form the basis for the effective combination on the left, which is certain.

Why Chelsea must sign Jorell Harto

Harto is still just a teenager, only 19 years old in March this year. He is far from completing the article, but judging from the statistics starting last semester, young people have a happy future.

Defensively, Harto was impressive in Eredivisie. Not only did he win 52% of his total per game, but the defender averaged 1.9 tackles per game and was dribbled in just 0.3 times per game in the highest game.

Talent Scout Jacek Kulig praised Hato last season for his “huge quality”, while also saying he was “a great combination of a full-fledged defender, a defender who plays and a centre-back who plays,” which may have a supportive role for Maresca.

On the left of Simons, Hato has all the qualities of Kulig – a nice partnership with his fellow countrymen.

From an offensive perspective, Harto recorded six assists in the league last semester, while averaging 0.6 key passes and creating six big opportunities.

Hato-Ajax

Additionally, the teen even ranked in the top 6% (0.21) per 90 assists (0.21) compared to the man’s position companion in the next 14 games.

Plus he ranks the top 11% of touches per 90 opponent free throw zone (2.33), and the top 2% (0.17) per 90 goals; Harto has all the offensive requirements to be on the left wing behind Simmons. That’s for sure.

It would be an expensive signing for such a young man, but Maresca has made ambitious plans for Hato and he will continue to grow his strength over the next few years.

If the club signs Harto and Simmons, they will be a force that cannot be ignored next season. There is no doubt.

For Chelsea’s faithfulness, the next few weeks will indeed be interesting.
