Ryder Cup 2025 Team USA WIRDCARD Prediction: Bradley as Captain?

Every Ryder Cup cycle, Team USA’s wildcard choices spark debate, and so does 2025.
As Team USA has incredible depth, Captain America Keegan Bradley has become less and less choices than looking for talent, but more shaping chemistry.
Should he be inclined to be able to cope with the huge personality of family pressure or a performer who quietly performs quietly at Bethpage Black?
Will he decide to choose himself as the captain of the American game in the unprecedented United States?
Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, JJ Spaun, Russell Henley, Bryson DeChambeau and Harris English are six automatic qualifiers for Team USA.
Golf365 predicts that Keegan Bradley will choose six wildcard choices, but will he choose himself?
Team USA’s six predictions of wildcard selection
1. Justin Thomas
- PGA Tour 2025 Victory: 1
- OWGR Ranking: 5
- The appearance of the Ryder Cup: 3 (2018, 2021, 2023)
Although Justin Thomas has another season, his main victory and former world number one lineage make him an essential for Keegan Bradley.
JT reviews his best in the 2025 RBC legacy victory, with the double PGA title being a key member of the past three teams of the United States.
His teammates looked up to him and his 18 PGA Tours won his class.
2. CollinMorikawa
- PGA Tour 2025 Victory: 0
- OWGR Ranking: 7
- The appearance of the Ryder Cup: 2 (2021, 2023)
Morikawa’s lofty standards of poverty in 2025, no match wins, no rhythm, changed the caddies in five different situations.
However, he remains Bradley’s top charity option, highlighting the value he will bring to the United States.
He has won two professional and six PGA Tour titles in many seasons, including an unforgettable open victory in 2021.
3. Ben Griffin
- PGA Tour 2025 Victory: 2
- OWGR Ranking: 17
- The appearance of the Ryder Cup: 0
Ben Griffin honed hard in 2025, attending most events and winning his first two PGA Tour titles.
He finished the top ten in the FedEx Cup rankings due to his Zurich Classics with Andrew Novak and Charles Schwab Challenge Champions.
Although his recent BMW champion “creatine overdose” has attracted all the wrong attention, we still believe he has done enough to win Bradley’s support.
4. Patrick Cantlay
- PGA Tour 2025 Victory: 0
- OWGR Ranking: twenty three
- The appearance of the Ryder Cup: 2 (2021, 2023)
Cantlay’s season was a very bad one, but due to his tremendous experience and past success, we think we’ll be another player in the United States.
He was an eight-time PGA champion and it is hard to forget his winning streak a few years ago.
Cantlay’s appearance will bring the Ryder Cup atmosphere to the Ryder Cup after tensions when Cantlay refused to wear a team hat in 2023, while his caddie was exposed to the open toe with Rory McIlroy.
5. Keegan Bradley
- PGA Tour 2025 Victory: 1
- OWGR Ranking: 13
- The appearance of the Ryder Cup: 2 (2012, 2014)
It can’t be said that US Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley has been a member of the team for enough years.
However, the captain of the Ryder Cup is unprecedented, and players like McIlroy claim that it is impossible to play both roles.
His form cannot be argued; whether he is willing to compete remains to be seen.
6. Cameron Young
- PGA Tour 2025 Victory: 1
- OWGR Ranking: 20
- The appearance of the Ryder Cup: 0
The likes of Sam Burns, Brian Harman and Akshay Bhatia all chose a compelling case for Bradley’s final American wildcard.
However, form is an important factor in the golf course, and entering the upward trajectory of the event is as important as early event victory.
The 23-year-old won his first game in the Wyndham Championship earlier this month and thrived in the FedEx Cup playoffs.
The Tour Championship is good enough to block a position.
