NHL Rumors: Pittsburgh Penguin and Boston Brown Bear

Pittsburgh Penguins Can Want Mobile Defenseman Ryan Graves
Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review in Pittsburgh: Pittsburgh Penguins defensive player Ryan Graves completed his second year of a six-year contract with a salary of $4.5 million. Things weren't that good during his time in Pittsburgh.
Graves is a healthy scratch for 21 games, mostly deployed in the third pairing, with a time distance of 14:59 last season. The previous year, he played at an average of 18:23 in the TOI.
The Penguins will seek to make some offseason changes, and the grave may be a piece they want to move out. To move him, they may have to attach assets and/or retain salaries. Any acquisition means he will stay in the book for eight seasons.
NHL Rumor: Will the Vancouver Canucks trade Elias Pettersson? Will you be interested?
“I've called in July,” said Graves, who made his deal from Colorado to New Jersey in 2021. “You will never know. But you will go through the daily routine (daily), as if you are going to be back here next year.
Joonas Korpisalo is looking for more starting points in Boston or elsewhere

Sources said his name was there more and he thought he had won more game time.
Korpisalo has three years left on his contract, $4 million per season. The team asked about the trade deadline about Korpisalo's trade deadline for Brown Bears, but it is not known how far away these conversations are.
Last season, Korpisalo started 27 games and posted a record with 3 lockdowns, 2.90 GAA and 0.893 percent savings.

After the team exited the meeting, GM Don Sweeney said Jeremy Swayman felt the extra workload had no effect on his game, and Korpisalo said his game wasn't enough.
