Midfielders over £40m are now Manchester United’s dream goal
United have now identified a “amazing” midfielder as their new dream target, and they hope to reach a deal before the transfer deadline, a report said.
Man Utd Halt Baleba’s pursuit of Brighton’s demand for £100 million+
United are willing to violate the bank’s Carlos Baleba, who signed Brighton and Hof Albion, and despite being cited for £100 million, they have now stopped pursuing midfielder as the Seagulls are very reluctant to approve their departure.
Brighton boss Fabian Hürzeler also asserted that his “very very, very confident” Baleba will remain a Brighton player outside the September 1 deadline, and Manchester United are now forced to turn to other targets.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that United was in a good position to win the CP’s Morten Hjulmand despite Juventus’ interest competing with it, but reports from elsewhere suggested Ineos hesitant to spend £69 million on Danish midfielders.
But, according to a Spanish report, Adam Wharton of the United Board of Directors, who hinted that they were big fans of the British, has now become a new dream midfielder target.
Wharton is seen as a replacement for Balebah province, and Ineos obviously wants an agreement soon and has plans to sign him before the transfer deadline, rather than waiting until the January transfer window or next summer.
It is believed that the 21-year-old will be very suitable for Ruben Amorim’s team, who seeks a player who can provide balance in the midfield for a while and can even use the youngster as a replacement for Casemiro.
But given that the Palace is not in a hurry to sanction the departure, the Eagles hope to get at least £40m of England International, one of their main players, which would not be an easy task.
“Phenomenon” Walton Hotel may be exciting Baalba
The former Blackburn Wanderer is surely loyal to Crystal Palace, and during the 2024-25 campaign, HLTCO’s Dan Cook picked him out with high praise.
However, as he is good at creating opportunities and pushing goals and the Cameroonians thrives on the defensive end, it is doubtful whether Baleba’s palace star will become an alternative to Baleba.

That said, Walton is a different player from Baleba, he is a Premier League experience, it has the kind of signing that Man United hopes to make this summer, and the £40 million quest is reportedly reasonable.
