Inter vs Bayern Munich: Preview, Prediction and Lineup

The International Front aims to reach the Champions League semi-finals only for the fourth time in the century, when they faced Bayern Munich in the second leg of the quarter-finals on Wednesday night.

Repeat of the 2010 Champions League final – the final victory of Inter Milan in Europe's premiere match – Nerazzurri scored an impressive victory at Allianz Arena with a 2-1 finish last week, with a late strike by Davide Frattesi giving them a lead in San Siro protection.

The side that was beaten under Simone Inzaghi proved to be very challenging and reached the final of the game in 2022/23 – they can actually replicate this season. If they avoid beating German tourists in the middle of the week, they will secure their place in the last four and close at the showcase event.

Bayern has produced much more in the Champions League in recent years and is committed to reaching the semifinals for the second time in a row. Odds against them piled up on them in Milan, but Vincent Kopany has a very talented team that is able to silent on Wednesday’s family crowd. They were fired last week by the Italians to revoke them and their travels must be more clinical.

This is 90 minutes A guide to the second round.

The International Front had fewer injuries than tourists heading to the second round of Wednesday, but there were no Denzel Dumfries, Piotr Zielinski and Valentin Carboni. The trio all missed the first leg, but Mehdi Taremi, who wasn't in Bavaria, returned to the bench against Cagliari on the weekend.

Last week, Inzaghi was unlikely to make many changes that received a significant one-ball mat in Munich, but Federico DiMarco should have returned on Wing-Back as he missed the first round because they didn't have a minor fitness issue.

Former Bayern men Yann Sommer and Benjamin Pavard are aiming to thwart their old employers on Wednesday.

Mutual prediction lineup with Bayern Munich (3-5-2): Sommerpawad, Akbi, Bastoni; Darmian, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Seram, Martinez.

Manuel Neuer

Bayern will continue to move forward with goalkeeper Manuel Neuer after the German Giants’ absence before their trip to Milan. The 21-year-old winter signing Jonas Urbig will represent between the sticks.

The Bundesliga leaders still don't have many key first-team outfields. Dayot Upamecano, Hiroki Ito and Alphonso Davies will not be playing again this season – the latter may appear for the rest of the calendar year – and the young Tarek Buchmann still has no shoulder injury.

Jamal Musiala's creativity will also be lost in San Siro, while offensive midfielders were in a hamstring injury earlier this month, but Aleksandar Pavlovic and Kingsley Coman both regained Aleksandar Pavlovic and Kingsley Coman after making a comeback with Borussia Dortmund in a 2-2 weekend matchup.

Bayern Munich predicted lineup and the International Bureau (4-2-3-1): Erbig; Laimer, Dier, Kim, Stanisic; Goretzka; Oris, Muller, Sense; Kane.

Inter knows they just need to avoid defeating progress in Wednesday's game, and the Italians could clash in San Siro to become neutral and unpleasant people. Inzaghi's team is specialized in setting up a low and frustrating team that they have admitted only three times in Europe this season.

Bayern may be violating the sidelines with Harry Kane, Leroy Sane and Michael Olise, but given their current injury crisis, it is unlikely that they will stay on the other end. Inter should have enough time in both boxes to book its own place in the past four boxes.

Prediction: Inter 1-1 Bayern Munich
