Hero World Challenge 2025 Odds: Scottie Scheffler Favorite

It may be Tiger Woods’ tournament, but Scotty Scheffler basically owns the Hero World Challenge. World number one Scheffler returns to the Bahamas this week and is the betting favorite.

According to Fanatics Sportsbook, Scheffler has +140 odds to win this week. While those odds may seem ridiculous, part of that is due to Scheffler’s form, tournament history and venue. There are some big names in the Hero World Challenge, but the field is still just 20, and Rory McIlroy, usually one of Scheffler’s biggest rivals, is competing at the Australian Open this week.
Not only has Scheffler won the Hero World Challenge the past two years, but he also finished runner-up the previous two years (losing to Viktor Hovland both times). This means that in his last four starts, he has won twice and finished runner-up twice.
Now these odds make sense.
Robert MacIntyre has the second-best winning odds at +1100, followed by Cameron Young (+1100). Keegan Bradley just entered Friday’s Skins with odds of +1600 to win.
While Woods won’t be in action this year as he recovers from recent back surgery, he will be on hand and is scheduled to hold a press conference at 9 a.m. ET on Tuesday.
The Hero World Challenge is an unofficial PGA Tour event that will air live Thursday and Friday from 1:30-4:30 p.m. on Golf Channel, with the weekend broadcast shared by Golf Channel and NBC.
