R&A has confirmed 154 event schedules for the open qualifying series and exemption categories^Th Open in Royal Burkedale.

Every year, players are provided with international avenues to win the original golf championship through prestigious professional tour events held around the world.

The open qualifying series will begin in October, and players will be able to qualify for the 154th Open through 15 events in 13 countries participating in the PGA Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, DP World Tour, Asia Tour, KPGA Tour, Japan Golf Tour, Sunshine Tour, Sunshine Tour and Challenger PGA Tour.

The exemption categories are also reviewed and updated annually to ensure public reward results for golfers in professional travel including Liv Golf and the leading Elite Elite Amateur Championships.

“The open qualifying is a huge excitement and appeal every year as players compete to gain coveted positions in the championship game, so we look forward to seeing the stories that will appear in the coming months and the field we are close to when we are taking another memorable Open at Real Burkedale next July.”

After the joint announcement of R&A and Augusta National Golf Club last month, the Madrid Open, Japan Open and the open ESPANA that linked the Hong Kong Open were added to the schedule to align aspects of the Open and Masters qualification standards.

In North America, the Arnold Palmer Invitational will be offered through MasterCard’s Arnold Palmer Invitational, the Memorial Championships at Workday and the RBC Canadian Open, and Macro will also offer a place in the Argentina Open in South America.

In addition to the open ESPANA in Madrid, the open Scottish Open in Europe will also provide a venue for golfers who are aiming to book their status in Royal Burkedale.

Australian Open 105^Th The New Zealand Open, Mizushima Open, Cologne South Open and another event that will be confirmed by the Asian Tour later this year will join the Japan Open, and there will be qualified venues in the Open with events held in the Asia Pacific, while golfers will also go through Investecs Investec South Investec South Investec South Investec, which will join the Japan Open.

Areas and final eligibility events for global professional and amateur golfers who qualify for admission will be held in June before the championship, at venues in the UK and Ireland.

The new final interim qualifier will be played in Royal Birkdale on Monday, July 13. The field where 12 players compete for their last place in the championship game will use a method to complement the Open’s existing qualification criteria.
