Chelsea are interested in signing Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rodgers during the summer transfer window.
According to a report by Fichajes, the 22-year-old will have a negotiation of around 90 million euros. Chelsea are interested in securing Rodgers’ signature, but they want to lower the asking price.
The report claims that Chelsea can use players as part of the deal. Whether Aston Villa is ready to approve his departure remains to be seen.
Morgan Rogers is an elite talent
He is one of the best young players in the Premier League and he performed well last season at the West Midlands Club. Rodgers scored 14 goals in all games and scored 15 assists in the process. His style and physical condition are compared to former England and Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney.
There is no doubt that he has the technical attributes to developing into a top player, and he may be a Chelsea asset. They need more creativity in the last third, and the 22-year-old will help them open the opposition’s defense through his creativity, linking games, passing and goal-scoring abilities.
Chelsea must pay a premium for Rogers

It is fair to assume that Chelsea must pay a premium for him. He is an elite talent with a bright future and can become a future star under proper guidance. Chelsea has done a great job of developing young players over the years and they can help him reach his potential.
The chance to join Chelsea is also attractive to the players. It would be a huge improvement for him, and he will play in the Champions League. Chelsea recently won the Conference League and Club World Cup. If Rogers joins the club, he will want to win a big trophy with them.
