Bobby Portis: Well, I just thought, ultimately, when you were on the team for over a decade, when you did a lot of things for the city, until Giannis became Milwaukee basketball, just like Giannis became his identity. So when you put so much effort into the franchise, so much trust and belief, you’ve been loyal for a long time… like I said – my whole point of view – I just felt like he was bleeding green, man. No matter what reports are, no matter what threshold you might reach…like, do you really want to see Giannis become a basketball fan in Toronto? Do you know what I’m talking about? I saw these jersey swaps in the Bleacher report this week, but please go ahead. Do you really want to see him on another team? Of course, if I’m playing 2K, that’s one thing. It’s cool to move him and put him on a different team. But in real life? Toronto’s No. 34 Giannis jersey? That looks weird. Am I personally? No, man. I really don’t see any movement happening.
