Wolf signs £25m “top striker” in negotiations

The Wolverhampton Rangers didn’t enjoy the best start of the new Premier League campaign, with Manchester City being beaten by Manchester City for most games before losing one goal at Bournemouth.
Panic station? Almost nothing. Wolves showed their quality and spirit as they overcame West Ham in the midweek Calaba Cup clash and had the opportunity to start and run their league season as they welcomed Everton to the Molynx on Saturday.
One of the potential draws of fluency and consistency in the coming months was the thought of losing the shooting Talisman Jørgen Strand Larsen, the subject of a string of bids by Newcastle United as windows dwindled.
Strand Larsen’s Wolf Future
Wolves chairman Jeff Shi insists that Strand Larsen has nowhere to go this summer, but the center has politely asked to join Newcastle United, which saw three bids for quick murders, with the latest value worth £60 million – rejecting the 25-year-old.
After seeing his loan spell permanent this summer, you can understand the hierarchy’s position, but all situations have to be taken into account.
The Wolves need to sign another striker, especially since Vitor Pereira lost Matheus Cunha to Manchester United a few months ago.
Well, according to Fabrizio Romano, Wolves have spoken to Belgian club Genk for striker Tolu Arokodare and suggest that even if Pace gathers on Larsen Front on Larsen Front, even if the old gold keeps their stance that the Norwegians don’t sell it.
Fulham, worth £25m, also registered their interest in Nigeria’s ninth place this summer, but Wolf seems to be leading the way in his late stage.
What will Tolu Arokodare bring to the wolf
Strand Larsen has played a major role as the Wolf since joining from Celta Vigo last summer, with Pereira’s team eschewing the threat of relegation, the backdrop of the campaign.
If he does end up going to St. James Park, the Wolves will need enough replacements, and Arokodare’s skill scored 17 goals in 2024/25 to make him proud as the Juliper Pro League Top scorer.
Genk Manager Thorsten Fink was full of praise when discussing his shooter, calling him a “top forward” and drawing attention to his pace, strength, height and two feet tall.
In this regard, the 24-year-old will be the natural successor to Wolves’ current host, with his mobility and presence on the ball allowing him to enter the Premier League.
To date, Arokodare, a lender in Germany and France, has settled in Belgium, increasing. In his 113 games against Genk, they have won two of the past three league titles, with the towering Ace scoring 41 goals and providing 12 assists.
To be sure, there are more. He is not the most clinical, and has missed a lot of great opportunities in recent seasons, but his desire to succeed in the last third has made himself a constant goal.
With such a strong and focused style, he could easily replace Molineux’s Strand Larsen, which should push the push, proved himself more prolific than the Wolf’s current shooter over the past 365 days.

Arokodare’s ability as Genk’s striker raised his warning, of course, he has been different from the Premier League, and Strand Larsen has jumped into the ostensibly toughest division.
But it is still undeniable that the rising shooter shared some interesting possessions with Strand Larsen, and that the Wolf could hit the gold by sealing his signature in the coming days and making huge profits on the current 9th number.
