Liverpool hopes to sign Alexander Isak before the summer transfer window closes, but doing so will depend on Newcastle. But history is different and they may not have the chance to reach a deal for the 25-year-old striker.
Isak is increasingly likely to join Liverpool this summer, and Newcastle continues to work hard to sign the replacement – they have done that and are expected to open the door for Premier League champions.
Isak is widely regarded as one of the best numbers on the planet, and it would be a grand business if Liverpool reached an agreement. Given that the Swedish national script could have lined up for Real Madrid – even Borussia Dortmund in Dortmund, they would even feel lucky.

Liverpool.com revealed the history of ISAK’s career, explaining that he almost joined Real Madrid instead of joining Real Madrid in 2017, and over the years, the Bundesliga side may have re-signed on the terms of the buyback after he was sold to La Liga Side Sociedad, who eventually sold to him from La Liga Side Sociedad.
The next few weeks will shed light on the situation of ISAK. While Newcastle was not going to let their star striker leave before the summer transfer window closed, they would almost certainly relax their stance if they could get two No. 9 autographs by the deadline.
But even if Liverpool was done by Newcastle, he still insisted on paying £150 million to reach a deal, which is still not easy.
