Wimbledon: There are more than 10,000 teams on the first day of the game

Attractions are thousands of people line up to get into the ground, one of Wimbledon’s most famous quirks, a tournament known for its close connection to tradition.

Although the impact of technology has increased in sports, the presence of line judges as it was the first champions, the sense of community and friendship that was obvious in the queue has not only continued to endure, but also flourished.

Despite the long wait – those in the front of the queue arrived as early as noon Friday and the temperature soared before the first day of SW19’s action, the process was barely dissatisfied as more than 10,000 people arrived at Wimbledon Park before the game.

“It’s great to be able to take time out of everything else,” Vicki Broad said.

“We met people from all over the world and just chatting and getting to know people.

“It’s a community of people with common goals. There’s never any problem in the queue, and the housekeeper runs very well.

“You know, the world is crazy right now. But it’s like you take time out of it, you’re all talking about tennis, you’re talking about where you’re from, how long it took to get here, how long it took you to stay, how long it was, it’s so cute.”
