Wimbledon 2025 results: Taylor Fritz’s superstitious “extreme level” in title bid

The “extreme level” of superstition is helping Wimbledon’s Taylor Fritz become the fifth-place bid in the world, winning the first major title.

After Australian rival Jordan Thompson trailed 6-1 3-0, the Americans reached the quarterfinals on Sunday and reached the quarterfinals on Sunday, reaching their best in the All England club match.

After reaching the first major final of the U.S. Open last year, Fritz hopes that sticking to a precise routine on the court can help him take the next step.

“My superstitious way is just spinning [around] My routine. I’m not superstitious in court, but I don’t think “you won’t turn the formula to extremes,” Fritz said. ”

“Everything I’m doing, I do the exact same thing. It’s like the second time I left the driving range, had a meal, I put my clothes in, I went to take a shower.

“Everything goes to extremes in the same order.

“I’m a little superstitious, but when I repeat the same routine, it gives me confidence that I will continue to behave well.”

Ten months ago, the 27-year-old was stripped of his first Grand Slam trophy by world No. 1 Jannik Sinner.

However, he did well on the grassland, winning Wimbledon titles in Stuttgart and Eastbourne.

Russia’s 17th seed Karen Khachanov is now in a way that the first Wimbledon semifinals are in the way.

Like Fritz, Khachanov has played two five sets to reach the final eight games, beating Poland’s Kamil Majchrzak 6-4 6-2 6-3.
