Will the Bucks star Miss NBA playoffs?

Damian Lillard suffered a serious fatal weakness injury in Game 4 of the NBA playoffs, with the Milwaukee Bucks trailing the Indiana Pacers 3-1.

Damian Lillard's Injury Update

The star point guard was forced to withdraw from Game 4 of the first-round playoff meeting with the Indiana Pacers as the Bucks lost 129-103 to the Pacers.

Early reports show that the 34-year-old had hurt his Achilles within 15 minutes of the opening – without any external contact.

Lillard was in a clear discomfort and needed help to bring it back and confirmed that he would not return to the game.

He played for only six minutes and ended the game with two rebounds and two assists, which weakened the Bucks – which ultimately led to the third defeat in four games.

How long does it take for Miss Damian Lillard?

NBA reports believe the Bucks star tore his left follow-up and will now miss the rest of the 2025 playoffs.

Worse, nine-time NBA All-Stars may also miss most of the 2025-26 season due to the importance of Achilles tear.

So far, it's been a tough year for Lillard as he missed the last 14 games of the regular NBA season and the playoff opener because he suffered from deep vein thrombosis.

Eventually, he was cleaned out to compete for the Bucks after taking off the blood medicine, so Lillard has now put a new blow to him.

Bucks head coach Doc Rivers talked about Lillard's difficulties in 2025, revealing the seriousness of the situation and sympathizes with his star point guard.

Doc Rivers says: “That guy tried to get back to his team. I just felt bad for him. It was a tough guy. Blood clot followed by this. It was hard.

“He’s such a great guy on the basketball level, but more importantly, as a teammate, as a father and all of this stuff.
