Italian Open Results: Carlos Alcaraz beat Jannik Sinner in a row

Carlos Alcaraz ended Jannik Sinner's 26-game winning streak with a 7-6 6-1 victory in the Italian Open final.
Sinner, who has participated in his first match since the three-month doping ban since Adriano Panatta in 1976, hopes to become the Italian men's singles champion.
But after a tense tiebreak, four-time Grand Slam champion Alcaraz was a lesson in the second set, and it took only 33 minutes to complete the championship.
The Sinner had two fixed points in the first set, but hit the backhand back, leaving defending French Open Champion Alcaraz off the hook.
The 22-year-old Spaniard scored some superb performances in the second set, earned some superb performances online and won the title online.
“I’m really happy to get the first Rome Italian Open results: Carlos Alcaraz beats Jannik Sinner in straight sets to win titlehopefully this won't be the last one. ” Alkaraz said.
“The first thing I’m going to say is that I’m really happy to see Jannik back to this amazing level.
“I’m sure he’s back in three months and the finals are crazy, so I have to congratulate him.
“I'm proud of myself, in the way I'm spiritually close to the game. Tactically, I think from the first point to the last point.”
Sinner's winning run dates back to October – when Alcaraz beat him in the Chinese Open final.
“It's not easy for a few months,” Sina said.
“In the final, it was a great result. I tried it today, but that's what I have. It was a great test.”
