£68m “PowerHouse” wants to join MAN UTD now

Even though the transfer window has only been open for a few weeks, Manchester United is very busy in the market and hopes to add quality to the current first team.

Ruben Amorim clearly made it clear that he hopes new additions to strengthen his squad after the club ranks 15th in the Premier League this season.

He has added Matheus Cunha to this window, but Bryan Mbeumo will soon join such an area, and his £60m transfer seems to be getting closer and closer to completion.

Apparently, the club is eager to increase further depth to the last third, which is understandable as there are no double-digit players on the current side who have registered in goals in the Premier League during 2024/25.

However, there have been positive updates in the potential deal to sign Viktor Gyokeres, the Swedes previously only wanted to move to Arsenal during the current window.

TeamTalk’s latest update confirmed that the 27-year-old is still keen to move to the Old Trafford window and has the potential to reunite with former boss Amorim, who starred in the Sporting CP.

He also said he was eager to leave the current team after 97 appearances in the next step of his career and kept coming up with a £68 million price tag.

His statistics this season proved that he would be a great choice for the Red Devils and then was able to once again consolidate his position at the top of his former boss.

Gyokeres was marked as “strong” by analyst Pedro Mendonça, who scored the most goals in any European player in the sport, highlighting the clinical threat he will offer on the side.

He also averaged 2.6 shots per 90 shots, with a record of overscoring goals in every game in La Liga Portugal, further demonstrating the skills he possessed before the goal.

Despite his ability to complete, he still has the ability to create opportunities for himself, dribbling 1.9 per 90 dribbling and creating 2.1 opportunities.

£67 million seems like a huge fee for players who have never always proven they can improve and thrive in the Premier League, and the top flights in England are a whole new challenge for the Gillicians.

But if he imitates Fernandez’s success in Dreams Theater, he would be an excellent signing to bounce the table back on the 2025/26 campaign.
