Aaron Gordon asks for more time in the NBA between playoffs

The Nuggets have not had a second Western Conference Final in the past Sunday as they lost Game 7 of the playoff series against the Thunder. After falling 125-93, many defeated players made a similar argument that fatigue is a problem.
Aaron Gordon firmly believes his team needs more breaks between games to ensure better, more competitive basketball during the playoffs. “If there are a few days in the playoffs, I'm really grateful for it,” he said.
The 29-year-old believes there will be more time between playoff games in the long run. “Just to give all these professional athletes another break and you'll see a higher level of basketball,” Gordon said after scoring eight points in a 24-minute game against Oklahoma City.
Sunday's game was also a head-on clash between MVP leader Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic, who were unable to make his regular magic and finished the game with only 20 points as rival Alex Caruso hunted the Nuggets all over the ground.
When asked which Denver needs to be a true champion contender, the Serbian big man didn't undercut his words. “We definitely need to find a way to get a deeper level,” the 30-year-old said after winning just nine rebounds and seven assists in Game 7.
The MVP candidate then explains why a deeper lineup can help, especially in playoff games. The Nuggets Center promised last night: “It seems like the team that rotates longer is the team that wins.”
Oklahoma City has brought a huge lesson with a 125-93 victory, proving that a suffocating defense can beat any team. No wonder why the Thunder leads the league with 17.0 forced turnovers and steals per game (10.3) in the regular season.
