United have secured the future of experienced goalkeeper Tom Heaton, the 398-year-old has put the pen on paper on contract extensions, which will keep him at Old Trafford until June 2026.

Romano posted an update on his X account:

“Tom Heaton’s new deal at Manchester United has reached an agreement and sealed, completing the deal. The deal will be valid until June 2026.”

Although he has only been a handful of first-team appearances since he returned, his influence in the locker room is crucial.

Although Heaton may not be on the court regularly, he serves as a mentor to young goalkeepers such as Altay Bayındır and Radek Vitek.

It is understood that manager Ruben Amorim appreciates Heaton’s commitment and leadership.

Heaton brings valuable experiences and a cool mind that can help young players adapt to the needs of one of the world’s largest clubs.

Although fans may not see his actions often, the Red Devils are still a wise move, and they are expected to continue spending summers after Matheus Cunha arrives.

Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo is the club’s next target as Amorim’s eyes have an offense against his team.

Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez is the club’s goal to replace Andre Onana of Old Trafford, but whether they can win the game to win the World Cup remains to be seen.
