Tournament organizers have announced the scheduled schedule for Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner at the Miami Open presented by ETA.

Top seed Alcaraz leads the top-half draw and will start his tournament on Friday night against either Joao Fonseca or Fabian Marossan, who are scheduled to play on Thursday. Alcaraz has never faced 19-year-old Brazilian Fonseca, who lost to Yannick Sinner in the fourth round at Indian Wells.

Alcaraz is the youngest Miami champion in event history, winning the title in 2022 at the age of 18. The PIF ATP Ranking No.1 is chasing his third title of the season, following success at the Australian Open and Doha. The Spaniard got off to a perfect start to the season when he was beaten by Daniil Medvedev in the semi-finals at Indian Wells last week.

Second-seeded Sinner will begin his tournament on Saturday against Damir Zumhur or qualifier Ignacio Busse. The 24-year-old compiled a 19-3 record in Miami and reached three finals in his four appearances before lifting the trophy in 2024, according to the Infosys ATP Win-Loss Index.

Sinner made history in Indian Wells last week when he became the third and youngest player after Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer to win all six ATP Masters 1000 hard-court events.

Miami’s hard-court action begins Wednesday.
