He added: “There is a lack of knowledge in today’s games.
“The coaches have all the skills, but their teaching moves will destroy the swing, like the bowed wrist at the top. Once you do, you’re gone.”
Despite the form of threats, Spieth struggled again in 2025, without event wins and sat in the top 50 in the world.
But when he spoke after the recent Wyndham Championship, he was happy to say his fate could turn around in 2026.
Spieth claimed: “Next year will be a very good year for me and I can feel it.
“A good offseason should bring me back to my best. That’s my goal.”
