“Show and putter dough” – This is one of the oldest lines in golf.
But has it piled up?
The people behind the revolutionary stroke gained disbelief. They insist that the most important thing is the strokes obtained from serving to green.
They believe that golfers who give themselves ruthless opportunities in a season or career will win more games and more prizes.
They will do this with consistency and have a weird week on the Greens.
By contrast, they suspect hot pushers that they need more to use flat sticks to take advantage of their quality.
According to the official stroke of the PGA Tour, they have been the hottest putters in the past five seasons, and their careers tell us how the theory about strokes is?
1. Danny McCarthy
Denny McCarthy’s putt didn’t escape.
He currently ranks sixth in SG voting this year. He is also April 4, 2024, 3rd, 2023 and 2022.
That’s crazy quality and quantity.
But this is Rub: He has not played in the PGA Tour.
One reason is that he ranks 121st in SG TEE-green this year. Talk about contrast.
He was the winner of the 2018 Korn Ferry Tour Championship and was unfortunate on the PGA Tour – he lost the playoffs in the 2023 Memorial Championships and the 2024 Texas Open.
It is crucial, however, that despite his usual top 20 in the competition, he rarely wins green for Tee.
2. Sam Burning
There is no question of winning for Sam Burns, who have captured five of them on the PGA Tour since early 2021.
But his reliance on hot Twitter has affected his career.
These rankings of SG putters reveal the quality of his work on the green: 2025, 2024, 8th 2023, 2023, 10th 2022 and 9th 2021.
Anyway, it’s a great job.
There are two differences now.
The first is that his five wins, combined with his second-level win and most of his highest championships, are in the southeastern United States, the so-called Bible Belt, where it is wet and the Greens have Bermuda Grass.

Second, the main champion golf is most often dependent on long games, which may explain why Burns only has the top 10 in 20 games.
3. Taylor Montgomery
He ranked 25th in SG this year, but Taylor Montgomery ranked second in 2024 and 2023.
He graduated from the second level from the top 10 in 2022, but he found it difficult to win.
He did this on the Little Tour but had 7 kft of threes and 1 on the PGA Tour without lifting the trophy.
His card is threatened this year: He has almost never gotten a stroke on the court through the drive or the route, and none of his putts will save him.
He brought an interesting top three to the top three.
4. MaverickMcNealy
The winner of last year’s RSM Classic (his first game at the highest level) is only ranked 51st this season, but he improved the rest of the game, which helped him compete.
He ranked No. 19 in 2023 and 2022.
5. Harry Hall
The British man is ranked third this year and he is fourth in 2023.
Simply put: He is very good at putting.
But this is an interesting thing. When he won his first PGA Tour title – the 2024 ISCO title – he was only ranked 24th (by the way), but third place was Tee to Green, one of only three top 10 tournament rankings in the category.
6. Christian Bezuidenhout
His putting and rankings were highly reassessed by his peers.
He ranked 14th in 2025, on October 20, 2024, and sixth in 2022.
That said, although South Africa has won four European titles, he has not won the game in the United States.
7. Mackenzie Hughes
The Canadian profile is similar to Bezuidenhout, but he is a two-time champion on the PGA Tour.
Last year, he ranked third in SGP, 14th in 2022 and 155th in 2021.
He particularly likes the island’s vegetables. He has been ranked first in the past two years, where he has won and two runner-ups.
8. Xander Schauffele
Abnormal: A great long game businessman, and very good too.
He ranked 12th with a 2024 vote, fifth place in 2023 and 16th place in 2021.
Last year, when he won the PGA championship, he ranked second in second with the Allies ranked 13th, a deadly combination.
A few weeks later, he was Green’s first T-shirt (with a stunning 16 on the court) and 16th.
