Alex De Minaur will face Arthur Fels in the first round of the ABN AMRO Open in Rotterdam, with the winner likely to face Stan Wawrinka, who is last playing the tournament. The draw for the ATP 500 takes place on Saturday.

Top-seeded De Minaur, a finalist in Rotterdam in 2024 and 2025, could face fourth-seeded Daniil Medvedev in the semi-finals. Medvedev, the 2023 champion, will face Frenchman Ugo Humbert in the first round. Fiers’ comeback from a back injury in Montpellier continued in Rotterdam, where he reached the quarter-finals.

Swiss wild card Wawrinka lifted the trophy in Rotterdam in 2015 and started against Aleksandar Vukic. 2022 finalist Stefanos Tsitsipas also moves into the top half and will face eighth-seeded Arthur Rinderknech of France in his first match.

In the bottom half, second seed and 2022 champion Felix Auger-Aliassime meets Alexey Popyrin in the first round and could face Zizou Bergers or Fabian Maroussan in the second round. Third seed Alexander Bublik will face top ten star Hubert Hurkacz in the opening match. Bublik is currently ranked 10th in the PIF ATP Rankings, 1-6 behind pole position in the two-man Lexus ATP Head2Head Series.

Fifth seed Karen Khachanov takes on home hope Jesper de Jong, while sixth seed Cameron Norrie takes on Roberto Bautista Agut. Dutchman Talon Grikspoor is the seventh seed and will face Frenchman Giovanni Mpehi Pericard in the first round. #NextGenATP Norwegian Nicolai Budkov Kjaer will clash with Jaume Munar.
