West Ham United is interested in signing Atalanta attacker Ademola Lookman during the summer transfer window.
According to a report by Sky Sports in France, they have identified the 27-year-old as a replacement for Mohamed kudus. The player is related to Tottenham Hotspur and he will leave the club soon.
Nigerians may be a substitute for quality. He proved himself in Italy and was able to succeed in England as well. He has played in the Premier League before and the chance to return to British football may be exciting.
Ademola Lookman to improve West Ham
He is at the pinnacle of his own strength, and it is the right time for him to meet new challenges. West Ham needs dynamic attackers like him, and Nigerians will be ideal. He has the ability to play multiple offensive roles, and he will fit in with his goal and creativity. Lookman scored 20 goals last season and scored seven assists.
He has proven himself in Italy and will leave his mark in British football if the transfer is passed. West Ham has been disappointing last time and they will hope for a strong rebound. Signing the right players will help them do a great job.
Can West Ham convince the players?
It would be fun to see if they could convince Lookman to join the club. He also has ties to other British clubs. He is a quality player and he may want to join a club that will win trophys. West Ham will need to convince his ambitions as they ended last season in the second half of the league table.
It would be interesting to see how things go.
