Watch: Town leads the Knicks to a stunning third comeback defeat to the Pacers – Basketball Insider

The New York Knicks made a stunning comeback, overturning a 20-point deficit in Indianapolis and defeating the Pacers 106-100 in Game 3.

Indiana seemed to have won the momentum of the first game with a 20-point lead in the second quarter. New York stabilized a step by step by lowering its lead to halftime.

The Knicks defense changed the momentum of the game, and the Pacers’ offense became more and more passive. Tyrese Haliburton mysteriously spreads the offensive opportunity.

Considering all the playoffs in his Heroes, it was shocking that Halliburton didn’t try a single shot in the last three minutes.

However, caught Carl Anthony Town. After being criticized for health in the first two games, it broke out with 20 points and 8 rebounds in the fourth quarter alone to lead the finals. He scored 24 points and 15 rebounds.

Head coach Tom Thibodeau spent most of the fourth quarter, Jalen Brunson struggled with foul trouble.

Thibodeau changed the starting lineup that didn’t get early, inserting Mitchell Robinson into Jason Hart. The latter’s role is excellent, collecting 8 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and a steal in 34 minutes. He also got late for a huge rebound and knocked down a pair of clutch free throws.

Game 4 will return to Indianapolis at 8:00 pm on Tuesday.

Knicks Pacers take turns to prove their comeback certificate

After the Pacers showed their comeback in the first game, the Knicks finally decided it was time to show them.

This is the third time in these playoffs that New York overturned a 20-point deficit. The first two face off against Boston’s defending champion Celtics.

It turns out that the two teams matched very evenly and only two points separated them in three games.

Indiana’s role participants are surprising in this role. Pacers players who did not appoint Pascal Siakam or Haliburton hit 0-10 in the fourth quarter. They also made three mistakes.

Again, it’s commendable for the Knicks’ defense, but it’s shocking how much the Pacers lost in the first half.

It’s worth noting that Aaron Nesmith did leave the game in the third quarter after twisting his right ankle on the drive. He’s back after the Knicks leads, but his absence certainly helps make a comeback. Bennedict Mathurin got extra game time and wasn’t impressed.

If the Pacers continue to lose the series from here, this will be quite a review. It will leave some scars after taking a 2-0 lead in Game 3 and then a 20-point lead at its home court. Not to mention, Brunson made four fouls at the end of the half.

There is still a long way to go, and for now, they will be refocusing on leading 3-1 in a few days.
