Selected first round tee times
Although there are only 20 contestants participating in this week’s Hero World Challenge, the star power is huge. For many of the competitors, this is the first time we’ve seen them on the field in months.
That’s the case for world No. 1 Scotty Scheffler. Scheffler is the defending champion and the favorite to win the Tiger Woods Championship for the third consecutive year.
Scheffler will be paired with three-time major champion Jordan Spieth on Thursday. After a disappointing season, Spieth hopes to begin his comeback this week in the Bahamas.
Scheffler and Spieth will play Thursday’s final first-round matchup at 12:25 p.m. ET.
You can watch the first round of the 2025 Hero World Challenge on Thursday from 1:30-4:30 pm ET on the Golf Channel. You can also live stream Golf Channel’s Thursday coverage on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.
