Washington Capitals Mark Lynden Lakovic with entry-level contract – Hockey Writer – Washington Capitals

The Washington capital has little time to agree to a three-year entry-level contract with Lynden Lakovic. According to the team, the 27th overall draft in the 2025 NHL draft is expected to rejoin the Western Hockey League (WHL) Moose Paw Fighters in the 2025-26 season.

Lakovic, 18, signed a contract that spent $975,000 on the NHL while also earning $85,000 in the American Hockey League (AHL). If the Canadian Forwards gets the roster to start the 2025-26 season, the contract will only meet Washington’s salary cap figures.
