Watch out, Xander Schauffele is playing like he used to.
After a disappointing season, the two-time major champion shot to the top of the leaderboard with an 8-under 63 in the second round of the Baycurrent Classic. Schauffele performed well in the second round, recording 8 birdies and 0 bogeys.
Entering the third round, Schauffele was tied for second with two other players at 8 under. The trio trail leader Max Graesemann by four strokes.
Schauffele will join Gretchen and Alex Smalley in the third round on Friday at 9:37 pm ET.
