Warriors' Jimmy Butler avoids breakage after fall, structural damage – Basketball insider

MRI revealed that Golden State Warriors superstar Jimmy Butler avoided any fracture or structural damage to the pelvic area. ESPN's Shams Charania first reported.
He was officially diagnosed with a muscle contusion with a deep hip and was still in “serious danger” against the Houston Rockets Game 3. Ultimately, Butler, who avoids a fracture, is considered the best case.
NBA insider Chris Haynes also reported that the injury was “manageable”.
Butler was injured in Game 2 when he accidentally got into trouble while bounced. He landed hard on his back, in a state of great pain.
Game 3 is 8:30 pm ET.

Warriors hope to maintain balance in the playoffs
Houston has shown that it is a mission to beat the Warriors without Butler.
Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun were in full control, and Steph Curry could only do a lot. Jonathan Kuminga saw his first minute of the playoffs and people hope that the trend will continue.
People also hope Brandon Podziemski will be able to play after leaving the second game due to illness.
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, who spoke to the media before Butler's MRI, said the team would have to “rethink everything” if Butler was absent.
But if there is a saving grace in the next two games, it is the series turning to Golden State.
Outside of Fred Vanvleet, Dillon Brooks and Steven Adams, the Rockets had a short playoff experience. How most teams respond to their first road playoff atmosphere will be very interesting.
Although Game 3 is Saturday, Game 4 will be played quickly after Monday.
The Rockets will know that a victory in Game 3 will make the Golden State game a must-win Game 4. The series will return to Houston for Game 5.
