Wanderers now want to sign new £10m star, Martin attends talks in 2024

According to a reliable journalist, the Glasgow Rangers are now seeking to sign a £10m star, with Ibrox boss Russell Martin meeting in a conversation last year.

Rangers made five Ibrox signatures against attackers

For the past seven days, Gers and 49ers Enterprises have been busy strengthening Martin’s team with the new Ibrox signing.

All ahead of the Rangers’ Champions League qualifiers before Panathinaikos, Lyall Cameron, Max Aarons, Joe Rothwell, Emmanuel Fernandez and Thelo Aasgaard.

There may be more things to do, and Martin recently shared the type of profile he wanted to bring in Ibrox before the 2025/26 season.

“We are working to make sure we get the right buildings. We are very happy that the buildings are already in the buildings and we think we will be happy with them next Monday or two.

“We still need some help, but we all know that. We can’t rush to sign people we’re not sure about. We have to follow the people we really want. We have to look at the role first.

“Can you come here to add to the aspects of our behavior, training, working, being human? The people who play for this football club are not going to be everyone’s person, it’s one person’s role.

With new defenders and midfielders already signed, attention appears to be joining the final third, while people like Jamie Vardy mention Glasgow’s forward goal.

The new winger will also be on the radar, with Martin currently only having Oscar Cortez, Rabbi Madendo and Ross McCausland as options, and from the looks, this is the former target of the Rangers boss.

Wanderers chase deals for £10m jesurun rak-sakyi

According to Alan Nixon, a reliable journalist for Scottish Suns, the Rangers are “chasing” the actions of Jesurun Rak-Sakyi of Crystal Palace.

The 22-year-old returned to Selhurst Park after a loan spell at Sheffield United last season, and the Wanderers are looking for temporary or permanent moves.

The palace hopes to sell Rak-Sakyi for £10 million, but, “the Ibrox boss can also try to make him trade for a relatively low fee”.

Interestingly, Martin signed the right-wing signing 12 months ago after bringing Southampton to the Premier League, but the move failed.

Rak-Sakyi will continue to contribute to the Blades’ nine championship goals as they missed the promotion in the playoffs that ultimately beat Sunderland.

Now, it looks like the British can move to Scotland, which makes this a close watch over the next few weeks.
