Victoria Mboko: Will the boy’s undefeated end in glory?

Mboko’s coach Natalie Tauziet – herself a pragmatist in court, formerly ranked third in the world and finalist in the ’90s Wimbledon – has overseen Mboko’s extraordinary form after she previously directed her in junior high school.

“I think what’s important to her is to see us not panic.

“The U.S. Open is the goal – who knows, maybe she can do something good? Here we will pass the game, hoping not to get hurt.”

Mboko hurt her hand against Rybakina in a heavy Montreal game, but said she didn’t feel it before the final.

Another benefit of youth seems to be the ability to bounce off the hard ground alongside an anxiety-free worldview sports star.

After Mboko defeated Coco Gauff, the young Canadian star and another Wimbledon finalist, Eugenie Bouchard, said on Canadian TV: “She is fearless and she doesn’t seem to have made this moment as much for her.

“Her strength and shooting are great. She didn’t let Coco do too much, nor gave her any time. [Mboko] Handled this moment in a mature way. ”

Mboko will need to mature before the final against an experienced player who has never surpassed the Canadian dormitory himself: “It’s really crazy life, it’s a great feeling.”

“But until now I haven’t thought of lifting the trophy. I always try to focus on the moment – but that’s obviously the vision I want to see. That’s what I’m trying to do.”
