Aryna Sabalenka apologizes to Coco Gauff for commenting “totally unprofessional” after the French Open Final

Three-time Grand Slam singles champion Sabalenka lost her two major finals of the year.

In the Australian Open final, she lost to Madison Keys, won the defending title twice in the Australian Open final before being defeated by Gauff.

She made 70 uncompulsive mistakes, one of the best defenders on the women’s tour, and tried to stay calm.

Sabalenka added: “I was very excited at that press conference, not very smart.”

“It took me a while to re-examine it, open my eyes and understand.

“I realized I was a lot. Why did I lose so many finals? I’ve been so excited.

“So, it’s a tough but very illuminating lesson for me.”

Sabalenka started her pasture season at the Berlin Open before Wimbledon began on June 30, and she was the top seed.
