Vardy completes Serie A action

Experienced striker Jamie Vardy completed his transfer to Italy’s Serie A after leaving Leicester after the end of last season.

The former England striker made 500 appearances for the Foxes, scoring 200 goals and bringing them to the historic Premier League title in 2016.

The 38-year-old signed a one-year contract with the new Serie A boy who won the first two games of their current campaign.

Vardy broke many Premier League records, including continuous consecutive match scores and became the oldest top scorer in the league.

In addition to the Premier League championship, Vardy also won the FA Cup with Leicester and won numerous football player of the year.

Vardy’s contract with Italy will last until the end of June 2026 and has the option to comply with certain conditions.
