US Open 2025 results: Felix Ouger-Aliassime beats Alex de Minaur to enter semifinals

Felix Auger-Aliassime further gave Alex de Minaur a further heartbroken Grand Slam quarterfinals and reached the last four games of the U.S. Open with a win.

The Canadians are winning 4-6 7-6 (9-7) 7-5 7-6 (7-4) from a game, entering the Grand Slam for the first time since 2021.

Australia’s De Minaur has reached six Grand Slam quarterfinals, including three in New York – but has not yet exceeded that stage.

It’s a round-trip game, sometimes lacking quality on both sides of the net, with a total of 22 double faults and 93 unmandatory errors.

“I think today is just a lot of tension throughout the game,” Auger-Aliassime said.

“It’s not very beautiful at any time, but that’s what the purpose of the Grand Slams is – sometimes you don’t feel the best, but I’m willing to stand here very deeply.

“The biggest challenge hasn’t come yet, but that’s my life, so I’m going to show up and prepare for Friday’s game.”

O’Driver – Aliassime will face world number one and defending champion Jannik Sinner or Italy’s Lorenzo Musetti
