US Open 2025 results: Amanda Anisimova fights against Naomi Osaka to build Aryna Sabalenka final

Sabalenka also showed courage as she defeated Pegula from one game and reached the U.S. Open final for the third time in a row.
It was a disappointing season in terms of the Grand Slam success of Sabalenka as she finished the finals in the Australian and French finals.
She also competed in the semifinals at Wimbledon, but in all three situations, emotions made the 27-year-old better.
The calming collapse is reminiscent of her early career–she seems to have abandoned her when she won three Grand Slam titles in 20 months.
However, the Belarusian avoided a bigger grand slam heartbreak for the most part, keeping her mood in a rivalry with Pegula and continuing to bid for the fourth big singles champion.
Sabalenka led the first set 4-2 and then lost four games and had to score four breakthrough points in the finals in the win.
“Hopefully I can go again,” Sabalenka said, who has already had six consecutive finals in a tough Grand Slam event.
“That means a lot. I’m going there on Saturday and I’m going to fight for every point, just like the last point of my life.”
