US Open 2025: Emma Raducanu says New York feels like a “happy place” again

Raducanu is known for creating one of the biggest shocks in British sports history, but found the consequences – which is extremely difficult in terms of transitioning to a full-time WTA Tour player and a stratospheric review.
She returned last year after being ruled out for the 2023 match due to injury, but her re-ready was ready after losing again in the first round.
Raducanu felt “sad” and “falling down” after losing to Grand Slam champion Sofia Kenin.
This year, she returned to New York, with a wave of optimism.
She looks more worry-free and contented since her US Open victory, and she has played some of the best tennis balls and is close to climbing back to the top 30 in the world.
“I feel relaxed, I feel so happy that I feel the same way in enjoying my tennis, enjoying practice, enjoying competition and getting better,” said former World No. 10.
“I think I feel the same way too [as 2021] In this sense. ”
