Winnipeg Jets Re-signed Dylan Samberg
Hockey Pedia: Winnipeg Jets and defenseman Dylan Samberg avoided wage arbitration and reached a three-year contract with a salary cap of $5.75 million. The deal bought the 26-year-old unlimited free agent for two years. During the last two years of the deal, he had a six-no trade clause.
2025-26: US$4.25 million
2026-27: US$6.5 million
2027-28: US$6.5 million

TSN: Toronto Maple Leafs forward Nick Robertson is the only RFA left, who applied for salary arbitration. His hearing is scheduled to take place on August 3.
The 23-year-old made $875,000 last season, scoring 15 goals and seven assists in 69 games. He only played three playoff games, scoring goals and adding assists.
Leafs has an estimated cap space of $2.93 million, and Robertson’s only NHL player requires a contract.

Calgary’s flames extend Martin Popisir
Hockey Pedia: Calgary Flames have extended 25-year-old forward Martin Pospisil to a three-year contract with a salary cap of $2.5 million. He is in the final year of his contract, which pays $1 million.
The deal purchased for two years without restrictions on free agency.
Tomas Prokop: pospisil signed the extension: “The conversation lasted for two months and was even more intense over the past month. I wanted to finish it before the season started. I really like Calgary and it felt like home. We have a very promising team. Now, I can focus entirely on the goal – get the playoffs.”
