Trea Turner leaves the game due to hamstring strain

Philadelphia Shortstop Trea Turner As Philes declared right hamstring pressure, he set out early in the seventh inning in today’s game against the Marlins. Miami Shortstop’s throwing error Otto Lopez Turner was allowed to reach the base, but Turner immediately left the field and entered the canoe in Pheles and was replaced by the pinch runner Edmundo Sosa.

Manager Rob Thomson will provide more updates in a post-match meeting with reporters, but it looks like Turner is heading towards the injured roster. The only question now is the severity of the pressure and whether there is any problem with Turner’s availability in the playoffs. Philadelphia entered today’s action with a healthy seven-game lead in the NL East, and the Phillies will earn the second best record if the playoffs begin, with the Phillies getting the first round. If Turner needs to take a few more days to recover, then the extra rest time now may be imminent.
