United will continue its business in the coming weeks, with a deal involving Marcus Rashford. The striker seems to have no future at Old Trafford, which is why he is looking for his departure for the second straight transfer window.
Rashford has been linked to various clubs including Bayern Munich in recent weeks. But at this stage, he will likely move to La Liga champion Barcelona, who has been interested in the 27-year-old since missing him in January.
Barcelona failed to sign Nico Williams, who signed a new 10-year contract with the sports club on Friday, with his Nico Williams more likely to travel to Catalonia this summer and now embarking on concrete moves.
Barcelona and the People’s Federation discusses Marcus Rashford’s deal
According to Santi Aouna, Barcelona and Manchester United, negotiations on the Rashford deal are expected in the next few days. La Liga is expected to receive a loan, although those in Old Trafford hope to spend more money on their goals this summer.
Rashford has been widely reported to have focused on relocations to Barcelona, outside of all clubs interested in his service. Signs suggest that his dream move is getting closer and closer to becoming a reality.
However, there is no guarantee that an agreement can be reached. Barcelona are working to solve financial problems, so it is not easy for them to meet Manchester United’s requirements. Most importantly, they also considered Liverpool’s Luis Diaz’s move, although it was even harder than Rashford’s expected deal.
