Carolina Hurricane Bradly Nadeau looks at opportunities for NHL jumps – Hockey Writer – Carolina Hurricane

Alexander Nikishin, one of the highest prospects for the Carolina Hurricanes, made his NHL debut last season People are happy to see what he can do in his first full professional season in North America in 2025-26. However, another player who joined the Hurricanes last season is expected to jump to the NHL this season. After a great first-time professional sport with the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League (AHL), don’t be surprised if Bradly Nadeau joins the Hurricanes’ roster this season, it’s more than just a cup of coffee. It’s always forever.
Nado is ready to jump
Nadeau scored his first sensational professional season in 2024-25, scoring 32 goals and 58 points in 64 games, a teenager’s stunning figure. Nadeau led the Wolves’ goal, second and tied for third, assists and was named AHL All-Rookie by former Hurricane Scott Morrow.
His elite shots were fully demonstrated in the 2023-24 NCAA (37 games) with 19 goals in the only year, with a 64-point season. In his final season in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL), Nadeau scored 45 goals and 113 points in 54 games.

The two-time BCHL champion was ranked 30th overall by the Hurricanes in the 2023 NHL admission draft and has shown over and over again that he is the best pure goal scorer in the organization. He has only played three NHL games so far, but he has had an impact on the ice, including two last season. The Hurricane now has a logjam on the wing, but Nadeau may break through.
NHL.com senior writer Tom Gulitti pointed out that the 5-foot-11-inch, 172-pound winger could get the Hurricanes out of camp, while Darren Yorke praised Nadeau’s first season as a pro. “It may take a little while to start scoring because of what he expects from himself,” York said. “But for a player, what he did when he was 19, scored 32, 58 points was excellent.”
Nadeau rarely sees time as a center, but if the Hurricane thinks he can learn more about the position and succeed, that may be his easiest way to the NHL. If not, will there be a reshuffle on the wings to make room for him?

Seth Jarvis, Eric Robinson, and newly expanded Logan Stankoven and Jackson Blake are all playing on the right. On the left, they newly signed Nikolaj Ehlers, Andrei Svechnikov, Taylor Hall, Jordan Martinook and William Carrier. The only thing that makes sense in the middle is the middle.
The hurricanes are in the center of Sebastian Aho, Jesperi Kotkaniemi, Jordan Staal, Mark Jankowski and Tyson Jost. Despite the limited central depth of the team, Nadeau can show the ability to win the standoff and demonstrate his ability to score touches, which can crack the forward core spine.
Nado only has time
Nadeau is an influential player, but he must prove it in 2025-26. If he doesn’t knock the roster out of camp, he will prove it in the AHL and become one of the first calls in the NHL. If he starts producing on the NHL roster, Nadeau will make it difficult for them to send him back. If he would give him a long-term skin a worthy value, Nado would not see AHL again.
