Newcastle submits bid after Woltemade for £35m Champions League final

Newcastle United may be Nick Woltemade and pushing Yoane Wissa’s efforts, but the strikers aren’t the only position they want to step up before the deadline.
Eddie Howe brings Alexander Isak into
Alexander Isak’s potential St. James’ Park exit now looks more likely than in recent weeks, especially since Woltemade is on the verge of a large currency transfer from VFB Stuttgart to Hipies.
Speaking at a joint joint press conference on Friday, Eddie Howe admitted that the situation is still out of his hands, arguably suggesting Isak’s transfer from Newcastle to Liverpool.
“I have a football preference, but you have to take everything else into consideration, you can’t just ignore what’s going on. So I’m really in that position because I can’t control myself because I can’t control myself. I’m going to let everything take everything and then deal with the end. I don’t think you can be emotionally involved.
“If you are emotionally involved, you make a bad decision. When Alex leaves the team, I have to separate myself from it. Initially, I thought the team needed me to be my best me and to focus entirely on them. This situation is not going to be resolved anytime soon and I can’t control any solution.”
While it is understandable that while people are very particular about Isak, Woltemade, Wissa and offensive conditions, it seems that Newcastle is also targeting midfielders.
Newcastle submits David Frattersi
According to reporter Gianluca di Marzio and Sports WitnessesNewcastle and PIF “make an offer” for Inter Milan midfielder David Frattersi, hoping to sign him on loan and have an obligation to sign him permanently. It could be a “complex” deal, though, but international manager Christian Chivu commented on £35m in Italian, a key part of his plan.
Frattesi has been a Newcastle target throughout the summer window, and even held talks earlier this week, he could be a great signing for Howe, adding deeper depth and quality in the middle of the park.
The 25-year-old helped the International Front final last season, scoring a victory against Barcelona in the semi-finals, with Italian legend Roberto Baggio applauding Frattersi and Sandro Tonali when stamped two summers ago.
“I didn’t pay much attention to the transfer market, but two moves I thought of. The first was Tonali’s move Newcastle, which I didn’t expect. Without him, Milan lost a lot. The other was Flatsi’s move to the International Committee because he was the player I liked and followed. It was a great coup.”
It’s more important for Newcastle to focus on their offensive signing than midfield, but it could be a great business if they can get a loan deal from Flatsey online.
