Tottenham Hotspur executive director and Daniel Levey’s second place Donna Cullen leave the club

Daniel Levy, a right-handed woman from Tottenham, is resigning from the club’s board, the first of several changes expected this summer.

Since 2006, Cullen has been regarded as Levy’s most trusted consultant since his post on the board.

She also serves as a trustee for the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, despite facing criticism from fans in recent protests against the taxation.

Vinai Venkatesham will take on the role of club CEO later this month. Meanwhile, Levy is expected to soon outline the plans of head coach Ange Postecoglou and chief football officer Scott Munn.

Postecoglou won the Europa League three weeks ago at Biblao, but his future at the club remains uncertain after finishing 17th in the Premier League.

Thomas Frank is the most popular person to have a place in North London if Levi decides to fire the Australian.

A statement read on the club’s website: “It was a difficult decision. Clubs have been my life for the past three decades. I have had the honor of working with Daniel, who has the vision and energy that has moved the club forward, and many of his talented and outstanding colleagues.

“It’s been a pretty much trip starting with White Hart Lane, a short stop at Wembley and ending with our new home – amazing memories and memories outside. This season ended with Europa League Trophy, which was a dream come true.

“It’s time for me to collect more time for myself and my family and I’m grateful for all their support over the years. I’m going to spend months making sure to have a smooth exchange with my staff. Thank you everyone. I hope everyone at the club is successful in the world.”

Levy praised Cullen’s contribution in her tribute: “Donna has made a huge contribution to the club for a long time. Her diverse responsibilities have been enhanced, and it is impossible to replace her role with one person.

“While many may primarily associate her with marketing and communications, Donna’s influence goes far beyond these areas. In particular, her leadership and political acumen on the Program Committee, played a role in the club and was able to build one of the best stadiums and training centers in the world.

“She deserves recognition for her contribution to the establishment of the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, which has positively impacted countless individuals in our community and has provided extraordinary educational opportunities for children in the establishment of the London College of Excellence.

“Donna puts the club’s conscience at the forefront of environmental and diversity initiatives. She also plays a crucial role in supporting part-time Spurs ladies who are amateur part-time, making our professional women’s team grow.

“Her daily commitment will be greatly missed, but she should have taken the time to spend her time completely and I know we will be able to call on her advice when needed. We wish her all the best in the future.”
