MLB Mail Bags: Tucker, Bellinger, Grisham, Cardinals, Royals, Angels, Twins

This week’s mailbags focus on potential Kyle Tucker Suitor, Yankee’s chance is retained Cody Bellinger and Trent Grishamthe history of Angels in the Free Agency, the extended ideas of royals and cardinals, and the future of the twins.
Colin asked:
Where is Kyle Tucker for some realistic landings for Kyle Tucker this offseason?
Why not just evaluate the viability of all 30 Tucker’s teams? I’m sure Tucker already owns it at an Excel Sports Management agent.
- White socks: In a June statement, the team said Justin Ishbia “will inject capital into the White Sox as a limited partner in 2025 and 2026, which will be used to pay off existing debts and support ongoing team operations.” The team’s long-term books are already clean. Can Ishbia sign Tucker’s contract, which may be more than six times the current 75mm? Painting it as extremely unlikely, but more likely than it has been for a long time.
- guardian: No chance.
- tiger: Club and Alex Bregman Last winter was noteworthy, but it was still not the third free agent deal. Since Mike Ilitch’s death in 2017, it’s extremely unlikely how Tucker works here.
- Royal: No chance.
- twin: No chance.
- Golden Oriole: On the payroll, Orioles can manage this, but we’ve been talking about it for a while. We’ve only seen one offseason under David Rubenstein, and it’s Taylor O’Neill$49.5mm deal, but in theory, he might surprise us.
- Red Socks: In a team Jarren Duran,,,,, Ceddanne Rafaela,,,,, Roman Anthonyand Wilyer Abreusigning Tucker seems to make no sense. The Red Sox is Juan Soto Last winter, Duran or Abreu could be traded, so we don’t rule it out yet.
- Yankees: Join Trent Grisham and Cody Bellinger for free agents, Jasson Dominguez Without asserting himself, Tucker has a reasonable case. Having enough salary space can also make it work properly.
- Light: I plan to write “No chance” and move on, but Tucker is from Tampa and Patrick Zalupuski should take ownership of the ray before the outfielder’s sign. Given that Zalupski can’t magically change the market size of the rays, he has no plans to prepare for a new stadium and he doesn’t have a Steve Cohen Type net worth, which is still close to “no chance.”
- Blue Bird: Nathan Lukes,,,,, Daulton Varshoand Addison Barger Now form a typical Jays Outfield, George Springer,,,,, Myers Grassand Davis Schneider It also attracted some starts Anthony Santander On IL. Re-sign Bo Bichette Or adding to start pitching seems more pressing, but the Blue Jays have no particular obstacles to pursuing Tucker. Additionally, Excel trades with Blue Jays.
- sports: A issued a statement last winter with a three-and-six million contract (Luis Severino,,,,, Lawrence Butlerand Brent Rooker). It’s still far from Tucker’s stratosphere, and he won’t choose to make Sutter Health Park his new home in the next few years.
- astronaut: There is no evidence that the Astronaut had an extended conversation anywhere while Tucker, and there is no reason to think Jim Crane would break the precedent and give him a huge contract on the open market.
- Angel: and Anthony RendonThe contract signed is almost a book, can the Angels try again for the main free agent? There is no compelling reason to do so, but Arte Moreno is at least capable of swimming in these waters.
- sailor: this Robinson Cano The deal happened about 12 years ago. The Mariners may have to bowl similarly during the game to convince Tucker to come there. Thinking this is unlikely, but not ridiculous.
- Forest Ranger: The ranger is expected to stay under the CBT, thus resetting his payer status. After the 30s, adding a fourth huge contract may not be the best long-term move, and starting to pitch seems more pressing, but the pursuit of Tucker cannot be ruled out.
