Tony Romo, Steph Curry and Justin Timberlake

Golf has always been a sport that celebrities like.

When the PGA Tour (and with IT Professional Golf) exploded in the early 1960s, there were three key factors.

First is Arnold Palmer’s appearance as a superstar. The second is color TV (because golf looks great on it). The third celebrity likes to participate in the game.

No Bob Hope, who has named himself Pro-Am and many other celebrities, including country singer Glenn Campbell, followed suit.

But what about today? Celebrities still love games, but who is the best?

There are 10 categories here, but the best golfers among them.

1. The best pop singer golfer

Justin Timberlake has a good argument in this category. He is a good golfer, he also sponsors events on the PGA Tour, plays on AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, and has a course in Memphis, Tennessee.

But the winner is the former direction star Niall Horan, a close friend of Rory McIlroy, who plays the mean game himself, competes in both the LPGA and the DP World Tour, and his modesty! Golf management took care of Tyrrell Hatton.

2. The best heavy metal golfer

In the early 1980s, Def Leppard and Judas Priest were part of the British heavy metal invasion of the United States, and both bands had members who loved to relax on the golf course in the morning after the show.

However, the king of heavy metal golf is Alice Cooper. With his long hair, wild clothes and makeup, he may not be a classic country club member, but he said golf helped him deal with alcoholism and he had 5 obstacles.

3. The best male golfer in the performance

Mark Wahlberg loves the game and will play a round before filming the movie. When Entourage (based on his life) created the TV series, it included his love of golf. He played about 9. Other possibilities are couples Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones, Hugh Grant and regular BMW PGA champion Pro-Am entry Tom Holland.

But we want a winner. What about the winner? Northern Ireland actor Jamie Dornan twice partnered with Tyrrell Hatton when the British won the Alfred Dunhill link title at St Andrews. 50 Shades of Gray Gray? ! ?

4. The best golfer in the tennis world

Roger Federer and Rafa Nadal spend most of their time on the tennis courts to fight for supremacy, as does the golf course.

Federer was a more elegant golfer, but Nadal won because he took it more seriously. He is an industrial golfer, but determined to play +0.3.

5. Best golfers from the NFL

Tom Brady played 8 games and appeared in the entourage club, with Peyton Manning playing 4 and Aaron Rodgers once being 5.3.

But former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is a great golfer who played on the PGA Tour, approaching a professional tournament, and once scored 84 attacks before Torrey Pines, who hosted the 2008 U.S. Open.

6. Best golfers from the NBA

Michael Jordan worships his golf and lowers his obstacles to 1. Charles Barkley is also fanatical, but is known primarily for its shocking (if comics) swing.

Steph Curry wins. He has been loving golf since he just started playing 10 years old, with the Golden State Warriors’ four-time NBA title, and he has played in the unknown tour, which has helped open golf in different communities.

7. Best comedian golfer

Dominic Holland (Tom of Tom’s father) who stood in English loves golf, wrote a novel about the book, which was praised at this year’s Sports Book of the Year Awards (called “public links”). Bill Murray likes pros (perhaps more than watching him like pros).

But Larry David has to win this category because a lot of episodes curb your passion. From stealing his 5 wood from the coffin, to anger at a weather forecaster, the forecast that left his enjoyment empty, to the failure to yell, the fictional Larry has a lot of real golf laughs.

8. The best female golfer in the show

Zeta Jones is a great call, Jessica Alba loves her golf too, and Nicole Kidman plays a professional in China.

But Kathryn Newton is a simple winner, perhaps even the best of everyone mentioned in the entire post. The actress is absolutely keen on golf and is a regular at the Open and Evian Championships, where she mixes with players and sometimes scores in Pro-Ams.

9. The best golfer in football

Andriy Shevchenko loves his golf and plays in Sunningdale Foursomes. Julian Dicks gave professional golf. So is Jimmy Bullard. Carlos Tevez once toured the Open (although in practice in fact). The best player is probably Stephen Grant, a little-known Celtic and Sunderland fringe player who briefly took part in the challenge journey. Harry Kane bought a house at Wentworth Estate.

But if you combine the quality of a football star with the potential to play golf, Gareth Bale wins. He also played Sunningdale Foursomes, who drove through the green on the second hole of 330 yards, and he had a green replica of the island on the Sawgrass in the back garden.

10. The best golfer for surfing

The easiest lot. The great Kelly Slater is 2 obstacles, he plays golf in Hawaii (at the time he wasn’t playing St Andrews at Pebble Beach or Pro-Ams).
