Laver Cup 2025: Taylor Fritz

Taylor Fritz shocked the world’s No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz as the team’s world turned around and led 9-3 on the second day of the Laver Cup.
Europe led 3-1 after Friday, but the team won all four games in San Francisco on Saturday, turning the trend ahead of Sunday’s final day.
Fritz failed to beat Espanyol Alcaraz in the first three games, and he won a full victory with a 6-3 6-2 victory in the final singles match of the day.
World Five said it was one of the best moments of his career so far.
“I think I’m almost proud of it because I feel like I’m starting to finish, winning, I won it,” he said.
“The many decisive points in the game weren’t that much he gave me – I feel like I achieved that in those moments. Just started to end and I played an amazing game. I hope this could be a sign of what’s going to happen.”
