Wimbledon 2025: Carlos Alcaraz chases third place, Aryna Sabalenka’s goal

Roland Garros champion Coco Gauff became one of the main contenders, but she never surpassed the London fourth round.

Last year’s runner-up Jasmine Paolini, the runner-up in “The Fourth in Italy” in the World, will perform better this year.

Meanwhile, former world number one Iga Swiatek defeated Paolini at Bad Homburg on Friday and 2022 Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina also hopes for a challenge.

UK No. 1 Emma Raducanu led the family hopes of women’s draw, and she was joined by Katie Boulter and Sonay Kartal, both of whom had their most recent top 50.

However, Raducanu has been drawn in a difficult lottery. Former champion Marketa Vondrousova is a possible second-round opponent, while Sabalenka may wait for the third round.
