The tour agency is mixed with two drivers and five wedges

In the world of professional golf, the days of traditional bag-settings seem to be disappearing quickly.
Once upon a time, the player might have a driver, 3 wood, 5 wood/2 iron (depending on the route), and then they enter the iron usually starts with 3 times.
Christo Lamprecht is not your usual golfer.
At first he was 6’8 and he hit a huge distance. He led him on this season’s Korn Ferry Tour, with Cameron Champ (remember him?) averaging over five yards. But he can play, too; he won the amateur title in 2023 at Hillside and won the silver medal at the Open at nearby Royal Liverpool, and he has been the world’s No. 1 amateur.
Witnessing his skills at Real Liverpool is like watching a completely different game. Putting the 4th rod in, lowering the 5 to a very short iron, by the end of the first round, he shared the lead.
So the 24-year-old’s bag setting is other. In the UNC Health Championship, Lamprecht was combined with the club’s rather weird club to solve the course – and ended the week in four rounds of the 60s and finished the tie in No. 34.
“I have five wedges since we started on the Korn Ferry tour,” the 24-year-old explained. “The past year and a half have been the norm. I obviously have drivers, because I have five wedges, so I have to put some clubs. Until now, I do have a driver and driver 3 and 3 iron heads, until now.
“I have a half Minnie drive right now. It’s a 14° loft with a shorter axle and the quantity here is very good. From there, we weakened a little bit of 3 iron and now I don’t have 4 iron heads in my bag. It’s definitely different from most people. I say it’s the weirdest bag. It’s perfect for a golf course.”
At the bottom of the bag he also sneaked into an extra wedge, which wasn’t necessarily true given his length, but the emphasis on modern games and on emphasizing moving the ball as much as possible.
“I love the five wedges in the bag, which really helped me a lot. I have the extra stock count now. I feel like, on Korn Ferry Tour, a lot of classes tightened at 330 yards. I feel like I’m a lot less powerful than the rest of the club, so I feel like I’m not going to hit 30 like the rest of the way, I feel like I have to hit 3, but I’m hit 3 times.
“So I need something, and if I can’t hit the driver, I can still be aggressive about something.”
