The Miami Heat has reportedly discussed a contract to acquire Terry Rozier. South Florida Sun Territory. The 31-year-old is on books for the upcoming season, with $26.6 million of guaranteed $24.9 million.

ESPN’s David Purdum reported in July that a professional shooting game put 30 bets in 46 minutes, all involving Rozier’s 2023 NBA games, according to documents obtained by the network.
On the morning of March 23, 2023, a bettor on a sports betting book in Biloxi, Mississippi, bets on a $13,759 bet on Rozier’s Bureau of Statistics in a game between the Charlotte Hornets and the New Orleans Pelicans.
Rozier, who played with the Hornets at the time, won all 30 bets after 10 minutes of his foot injury. Overall, at least six sports books in several states detected suspicious bets on Rozier props that day.
According to Purdum, most betting activities take place in Louisiana and Mississippi, according to sources familiar with reports released by U.S. Integrity.
No charges have been filed against Rozier yet.

Miami can also open up such tax space for another player by waived Rozier only before the NBA contract guarantee deadline on January 10, when all contracts were guaranteed.
