The Cristiano Ronaldo Museum is open in Hong Kong with great fanfare

Cristiano Ronaldo has taken over his legacy globally at the grand opening of the CR7 Life Museum in Hong Kong, an immersive tribute to his soccer victory and the personal journey behind his legend.

Officially opened on July 7 at the K11 Museum in Tsim Sha Tsui, the attraction is a huge 12,000 square feet that attracts a large crowd, with thousands of fans queuing into the world of Ronaldo.

The museum has over 40 exclusive exhibitions, from worn jerseys and boots from matches to some of the most prestigious trophys in football – including his 2008 Ballon d’Or, Golden Boots and his FIFA Club World Cup Golden Ball.

But it’s more than just praise.

One of the closest highlights is the faithful entertainment of Ronaldo’s early career bedroom in Lisbon, and in the year he grew up, fans had a rare glimpse of his life – an era when his dreams were just beginning to take shape.

Even Ronaldo’s real life can show off his YouTube content studio – although only VIP ticket sellers can get into the copy settings he uses to connect with millions of online fans.

The exhibition is expected to last until June next year, attracting more than 12 million visitors and marking it as one of the soccer-themed Asian exhibitions.

The Hong Kong Museum marks Ronaldo’s third personal museum dedicated to his life and career.

In November 2023, he opened the CR7 Signature Museum in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. He is currently playing for Al-Nassr after he set out from Manchester United.

However, the flagship and permanent location remains the museum of Fincher on Madeira CR7 – the Portuguese island where Ronaldo was born and raised. There, fans can explore his 100+ career trophys, countless souvenirs and multiple wax figures of football idols.

The museum is located under the Pestana CR7 Hotel, a luxury boutique jointly owned by Ronaldo and the Pestana Group. Everything – from the decor and dining experience to the room itself – pays homage to the Portuguese Star.

Outside, Ronaldo’s towering bronze statue greets, cementing the location as the ultimate destination for his fans.
